The Chipeque mountain stands 1830 meters high and it is located in the Dorsal mountain chain, known as well as Dorsal of Pedro Gil, the most important of the Canary archipelago, which stretches for 25 km from the vicinity of Mount Teide to the vicinity of the Mountains of La Esperanza, a mountainous system evolving from the center to the east of the island of Tenerife.
In the municipality of Realejos, in the north coast of Tenerife, one of the most precious treasures of the island´s landscape can be found, a fabulous palm grove by the Atlantic Ocean. This is La Rambla de Castro.
One of the most perplexing paradoxes of Tenerife is that being an island, very few public places and especially restaurants can be found by the sea or from wherever you may enjoy a sea view or live a fully marine experience. Perhaps the Burgado, on the coast of Buenavista del Norte, right next to the golf course of the town, is the best existing example of what should be more common in this beautiful island territory.
One of the great wonders of the island of Tenerife, is the fact that you are able to easily enjoy magnificent natural sites within a couple of hundred metres from the city or town where you reside. Tenerife is an authentic miniature continent, noted for its diversity of plants and geological landscapes.
