This renowned South Tenerife Winery is located at 1,100 meters above sea level in the municipality of Vilaflor de Chasna, in the golden route linking the coastal tourist resorts of Adeje and Arona with the National Park of Las Canadas del Teide.
Founded in 1947, in what was an old barn in the area of Los Quemados “The Burned land”, the lands that feed and surround the winery were historically linked to the Estate of the Fort-House of Adeje, which were gradually acquired since the late nineteenth century by various members of the wealthier middle classes in the district of Abona, until finally in 1947, Mr. Eugenio Reverón Sierra bought them and initiated the production and trade of wine, which continues today under the supervision and management of his son Mr. Diego Reverón Reverón.
The Reverón family, has been established in the region of Chasna since the sixteenth century, being the current family surname a local Spanish transformation of the original Ligurian surname: Rivarola.
The Rivarola´s were Genoese merchants who participated in the financing of some phases of the conquest of the Canaries, for which they were granted extensive lands in the post conquest deals.
This Tenerife winery, produced in 2015 about 70,000 liters of wine, of which two-thirds was Tenerife white wine and the rest rosé and red Tenerife wine.
Most of the production has its origin in directly owned vineyards, were the local Tenerife grape varieties White and Red Listán are predominant, but in recent years, this family owned Tenerife winery, has made a firm commitment planting new varieties such as Mainland Spain´s Tempranillo, the world famous Shiraz, the local Tintilla, and Castellana and the very promising Albillo Criollo from the island of La Palma.

The tour of the winery would not be complete without a little walk through the vineyards that surround it. As well it is important to visit the dining room, which roof is decorated with staves of old wine barrels and in which events of the most varied sign are held, as it is a part of the winery that can be hired for this kind of things.
