Golf Las Américas

Golf Las Americas

Designed by the world renowned English golfer John Jacobs Associates Ltd, Golf Las Américas is a beautiful championship 18 holes par 72 Tenerife golf course with an overall length of 6.051 meters (6.617 yards) with lakes and rivers meandering throughout the course.

This Tenerife Golf Course has been described by many as "A garden with tees and greens" due to the amount of flowers, plants, trees and lakes throughout the course. A beautiful ever green field planted in the middle of a Tenerife South desert.

In our interview with Brendan Breen, commercial director at this fabulous Tenerife Golf Course in Playa de las Américas, he commented that thousands of visitors over the last years have enjoyed this prestigious resort and that some of the most famous visitors who have played the course at Golf Las Américas, have been the international Mexican singer Luis Miguel in 2009, the Spanish international goalkeeper Pepe Reina in 2013 and on an annual basis both Chris Kamara, Sky Sports commentator and international Irish singer Daniel O´Donnell.

Over the last few years, the clubhouse restaurant has become a great meeting place in Playa de Las Americas, due to its exclusive terrace overlooking the course, as well as its luxury indoor dining area.

Many private events are hosted as well in the private event hall of the clubhouse, one of the loveliest places for both business and pleasure in South Tenerife.

The course is surrounded as well by the Tenerife luxury Hotel Las Madrigueras, whose clients have direct access to the Tenerife Golf Las Américas.   Lots of other great Tenerife Golf Properties also surround this charming Tenerife Golf Course.

It is well known that the surroundings of Playa de las Américas have been completely changed by this Tenerife Golf Course, transforming a piece of dry desert into an astonishingly green, flowery, lush inviting garden, open to all golf lovers and to anyone looking for a peaceful way to spend their day in Tenerife.

Finally, many other Tenerife Golf courses are very exposed to the wind because they are located in windy areas, but this is not the case with Golf Las Américas.  Thanks to surrounding mountains, such as Mount Guaza, this highly recommended Tenerife golf course is in a rather protected and quiet area.   In addition, it’s location close to the southern tip of Tenerife means it is known as one of the few places in the world to experience hardly any rainful allowing golfers to play golf for almost 365 days a year in an average temperature of 23º through all four seasons.
